My Story
I started my career journey in education research. After obtaining my master’s degree in sociology, I spent two years as a Research Manager at an education research firm in Palo Alto. My passion for fitness and working with others inspired me to make a big career pivot, so I became a certified personal trainer at Crunch Fitness in San Francisco where I specialized in strength training, weight loss and endurance training. At Crunch I dove deep into sales, which propelled me to do sales enablement at Fitbit when I was ready to move on from the gym space.
I began at Fitbit as an eCommerce Sales Lead where I built training decks on our newest fitness trackers and trained a small sales team on every product. I had the pleasure of working with a wonderful digital marketing mentor who guided me towards marketing campaign management. I got promoted to an eCommerce / Marketing Program Manager position where I built Fitbit’s seasonal campaign operations from the ground up. I managed over 60 global seasonal campaigns and grew our team’s output by 500%. After helping to onboard a content management system, I scaled operations and increased Fitbit’s market reach by 300%.
I got promoted once again and became a Senior Marketing Manager for the eCommerce Operations team. I managed backend operations for the fitbit.com website, focusing on commerce and product fulfillment tooling, as well as catalog management. After Fitbit was acquired by Google in 2021, I owned the first party marketing program for Fitbit product launches. I also worked on several technical enhancement projects for the fitbit.com website. I rounded out my Google tenure by working on large Fitbit-Google integration projects pertaining to logistics and inventory management, catalog and website data migration, and Fitbit toolstack deprecation.
